Mom in Balance Pregnancy Workout
Mom in Balance offers small group outdoor workouts for pregnancy in the parks of New York (Prospect Park and Central Park). You can start the Mom in Balance Pregnancy workout when you know you are pregnant and can continue until the end of your pregnancy. The workouts are suitable for every fitness level.
You are very welcome to join us for a free trial class. Please register online and fill in the code “momfree”.
Classes are usually held in English, but we are happy to start a class in German language if more than 5 moms register for the course. For more information please email to: firstname.lastname@example.org

Verena Schiml is German and the business owner of Mom in Balance New York. She has a Master in Business, but did a career switch when she became pregnant. She always loved sports (she was a competitive swimmer her whole youth) and therefore studied to become a personal trainer 7 years ago.
She´s a mother of two boys (aged 5 and 7) and lived with her family in the Netherlands for the last 6 years, where she worked at the Mom in Balance headquarters, responsible for the development of the German market. She also was a trainer for Mom in Balance in Amsterdam for the last 4 years, which she loved. And she is really looking forward to giving trainings again in NY!

Curiously, the initial idea for Mom in Balance was born 10 years ago in New York City, when Esther van Diepen, originally from the Netherlands, lived in New York and was pregnant and had the chance to work with several experts in the field of pregnancy and post partum fitness. Esther launched Mom in Balance upon her return to the Netherlands in 2008. Now there are over 6.000 women participating in the Mom in Balance courses in 120 locations worldwide. So, in September this year, after 10 years, Mom in Balance is returning to its roots.
Mom in Balance offers three different workouts:
The Pregnancy Workout, to stay fit and healthy during pregnancy.
The Back in Shape Workout, to recover and get fit and strong again after giving birth.
And the Mom in Shape Workout for busy moms who want to stay active and fit during motherhood. Mom in Balance moms are a network of ambitious, positive women, who connect through sports.
