We had lots of fun celebrating our 8th annual Karneval party with you on Saturday, Feb 3rd! After an hour of fun “Märchen” themed activity stations, our dance party to classic Karneval songs was a hit with both the kids and the parents. Our first Oktoberfest was a blast! Around 80 kids and parents got together at the Paulaner Restaurant on Bowery to play Oktoberfest games like “Brezn Schnappen” or “Masskrüge stemmen”, to eat delicious Bavarian Buffet, and to have fun dancing and playing
We had a great time watching NYCFC play Chicago Fire (with Bastian Schweinsteiger!) at the Yankee Stadium with our team and a group of German-speaking families. Our winner family (Volker, Christina and their daughter) were even able to watch the players warm-up from the sideline!
This year’s Sommerpicknick was our biggest turn-out yet. More than 20 families attended and we all had a fantastic time. Our Family Picnics are a great opportunity to meet other families. Barbara Rellstab from Rella´s Spielhaus entertained the kids and parents alike with an excerpt of her Kinderklassen program.
We had a great time and lot’s of fun at our Märchenfestival co-hosted by the Galli Theater. Kids enjoyed arts and crafts, facepainting, theater workshop and the show Hans im Glück.

Our Family Picnics are a great opportunity to meet other families. Barbara Rellstab from Rella´s Spielhaus entertained the kids and parents alike with an excerpt of her Lieder & Geschichten program.
Kids hunted for different color eggs and exchanged them for goodie bags in the end. Big Kids and Little ones had alot of fun! Easter Bunny came to visit!
After an hour of fun Pippi Langstrumpf themed activity stations, our song and dance party with Alexa to classic Karneval songs like Ententanz, Polonaise and famous Pippi Langstrumpf song was a hit with the kids… Guests enjoyed Karneval food like Wiener Wurst, Pizza, as well as freshly baked waffles. 50 families attended.
