Home with the kids but looking for something to do part-time? 

Instructors for "Lieder & Geschichten", seminars and groups

CityKinder is looking to expand classes around the greater New York City area and New Jersey. We are looking for qualified women who would like to run our "All About Mom" support groups or "Lieder & Geschichten" in their neighborhoods (e.g Brooklyn, Hoboken, Westchester, Northern NJ). 

Training and material as well as assistance in location search and marketing of the classes will be provided by CityKinder. 

Are you licensed/trained in one of the following areas?

• PEKIP teacher?
• Licensed in Lamaze or other birth birth education method?
• Licensed kindergarten teacher / social worker? 

We are in the process of developing additional classes & seminars and are looking for women to get involved!

Blogger/Contributor

Or simply a mom with a knack for the written word and would love to blog? We are looking for two or three bloggers to contribute to our site on a regular basis.

• Expat Mom - someone relatively new to the city, still adjusting to NYC life. Tell us about all the exciting new experiences in New York City as well as challenges and obstacles you have to work through while you are setting up your new life for your family....
• Experienced New Yorker Mom - someone who lived in New York for a while, experienced the "crazy single" or at least pre-baby New York and is adjusting from a New York life in the fast lane to a much slower Baby pace...
• Working New York Mom - someone who decided to go back to work and still finds a few moments to tell us about the joys and challenges balancing a career and family. 

Administrative & Event Management Assistant

Hours: no more than 5 hours per week (flexible timing)
Location: Work from home with occasional team meetings & Event attendance
Description of tasks:

• Event Coordinator: Help with organization and preparation of seminars and events
• Research of resources, companies, marketing opportunities etc. (mainly on-line)
• Production of flyers & other marketing materials, creation of mailings, etc.
• Data entry (Members and Client Lists, Address Book Grouping)
• Execution of mailings

Why volunteer? As CityKinder is still in the start-up phase, we are looking for enthusiasts who would like to contribute to a growing community service and work in a fun and flexible environment. We are happy to compensate your time with free classes for your child(ren) and attendance of our events. With the growth of CityKinder there may be opportunities for paid part-time positions in the future. You will be able to work on your own terms and can arrange your working hours based on your individual  schedule.

Job opportunities: We are searching for qualified and/or certified teachers, coaches, social workers, early childhood educators, sports instructors or similar for some of our existing classes and new programs we are planning to develop. Teaching positions are compensated on an hourly basis.
