No matter how old your kids are, the thought of applying and paying for American college is making you nervous? Do you tell yourself and the world: “My kid will study in Germany!”
In order to help you weigh your options equally, we decided to team up with a German Mom who’s been through it all with her two children.
Join us for an evening with Daniela Reinsch and her 18year old daughter Lily. Daniela & Lily will cover – in German and English – the financial aspects and options of going to college in America, and give a general overview of the (often dreaded) application process. You will go home with much more clarity of what lies ahead of you if your kids decide to study in the US – (and understand why both of Daniela’s kids actually opted NOT to study in Germany although they attended German language school at the UN on Saturday morning during their entire childhood).
Fee: $39 per person
THIS SEMINAR IS HELD IN ENGLISH

Daniela’s son William Louis and her daughter Lily were born in Berlin and raised in Queens. After attending public elementary schools, Louis went to Hunter College High School in Manhattan and is now a student in the brand-new California based college “Minvera”. After 2 semesters in San Francisco and one in Berlin, he is now in Buenos Aires, and will continue to study in Seoul, Hyderabat, London and Taipeh. Here a link to an article about him in the New York Times. Lily is currently a senior at the (public) “Baccalaureate School for Global Education” in Astoria. The top choices on her list of 24 colleges she applied to are in California. Daniela is a journalist with a degree in Political Science, and works in an international law firm in Manhattan. In the last years Daniela has visited over a dozen colleges between Boston and Los Angeles.
