Job description

Carousel of Languages is an early childhood foreign language program seeking highly experienced and enthusiastic part-time language instructors to teach in person and via Zoom.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, committed German teachers for the 2022-2023 school year. We offer up to 11 languages of study for our children. We are in need of qualified German teachers to join our strong teaching team.

Minimum qualifications:

-must be a native speaker of or have native-like fluency in German in order to be able to teach interactive, engaging, full-immersion lessons

-must be able to reliably work and skillfully teach children ranging in ages from 6 months to 10 years via Zoom and at the Upper East Side location.

-must have strong technological abilities and familiarity with Zoom and Google Suite

-must have authorization to work in the U.S. (internships available)

-must be enthusiastic about providing a joyful learning experience in small group environments

-must be able to commit to the full academic year and be a thoroughly dependable, responsive, professional, contributing member of the teaching team
