New Executive Order Regarding Partner in Delivery Room

Over the last week many hospitals have changed their protocols, banning spouses, birthing partners and other visitors from labor and delivery rooms amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The new executive order will allow at least one person in the delivery room, so that the woman do not have to be alone while giving birth as stated by Gov. Andrew Cuomo on March 28th 2020.

This executive order applies to public and private hospitals.
