What a fun weekend! Our team hosted close to 150 families this weekend and Nikolaus visited almost 200 children in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Parents enjoyed our Glühwein and hand-made Plätzchen from our sponsor Servus Cookies.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Nikolaus with us. Here are the links to the picture galleries.
A huge thank you goes to our event hosts:
CityKinder & St. Paul’s Church are hosting a “Krabbelgruppe” for Moms with Toddlers (9 month – 2 years) once a week at the facilities of St. Paul’s German Church.
The program consists of about half hour sing-along, finger plays and movement games followed by supervised free play for the kids (Tunnel, Baellebad, and lot’s of toys).
We are looking for a teacher with the following qualifications to lead through the program:
- Warm, friendly, and engaging personality
- Must love kids
- Ability to sing (no professional singing required – just be able to hold a tune).
- Ability to play an instrument (flute, xylophone, guitar etc…) would be a plus
- Experience with small children (Mom, child care provider, music teacher, PreK teacher, former Au-pair)
Due to the great demand for our Nikolausfeier we just added a second session in Manhattan on December 5th from 1PM – 3PM. Please join the fun and sign up at www.citykinder.evenbrite.com.
