Making Time for Me - Join us for this Mommy-licious seminar & Night Out!

Are you taking care of everyone in the family but yourself? Are you still fighting that stubborn baby weight? Are you just curious how to navigate your family on a healthy path through the (fast)food jungle of New York City?

Join us for this seminar and pick up some pointers of how to take care of themselves in order to be the best Mom possible! Nutritionist and Health Coach Kerstin Hecker calls it "The Art of Extreme Self Care", which works on the premise that the happiest children are those who know that their parents are happy. Many new (and not so new) mothers are having a hard time getting back to that pre-pregnancy weight and shift their priority to caring for their families while forgetting about themselvles in the process.

This interactive seminar takes a look at your role as caregiver, your own needs, and communicating them with your family.

So how does nutrition play into that? Giving your body the nutrients it needs and establishing healthy eating habits will not only benefit you and your own well being, it will also lay a life-long foundation of what kind of relationship your children will have with food.

We will close the night at a nearby wine bar!

When: Tuesday, February 28th @ 7PM

Where: 2057 Broadway @ 72nd Street

Public vs Private Schools - More international parents in NY choose Public!

Affluent, Born Abroad and Choosing New York’s Public Schools

Are you facing the decision most New York parents dread? What's better for my child? Here is an interesting article from the New York Times on the trends among foreign born vs US parents in a certain income bracket.

"Affluent foreign-born parents in New York City are sending their children to public schools in much greater proportion than native-born parents with the same incomes."
